When I used to play I was with this romanian community from worldofgothic.ro, I had a blast. We were playing on the Gothic I map which was ported into Gothic II, it was all role play mostly but it was fun as hell haha.

Hey fellow Gothic fans, recently I found out that Gothic 2 has a multiplayer platform called G2O. I started playing on a polish RP server called History of the Colony. I have to say, It´s all I ever dreamed of as a kid and I only had to wait fifteen years for it to become reality :D. Up to 130 players playing RP, building a Colony from scratch.

Note: Alternative you can copy paste the content into PowerShell every time you want to start the server. Create a Shortcut to your desktop of the File. If you dont want Web UI, you have to delete the line.
The dosinabox steam app fix allows for many fixes - especially zStartupWindowed=1 in Gothic.ini in \steamapps\common\Gothic II\system\Gothic.ini. I am pretty sure this fix applies to GOG as well - but I could be wrong. The kirides GD3D11 is pretty brilliant and this guy is committed to rewriting the core graphics architecture of Gothic 2.
